Centrifugal, Centripetal, and Spiritual Embodied Gravitas
A practice to sense centrifugal (outward), centripetal (inward), and gravitational energies, integrating them into coherent embodied gravitas
Many people move through life either “pushed outward” by stimulus or “pulled inward” by thought and tension.
Centrifugal energy drives expansion, action, and reach. Centripetal energy draws inward, fostering reflection and stability. Spiritual gravitas arises when the body balances both, grounded yet expansive.
The deeper insight is that energy patterns shape perception, relationships, and presence. The nervous system learns to hold tension or collapse when these forces are unintegrated.
This practice helps you notice centrifugal and centripetal energies in the body, integrate them, and cultivate grounded, spiritual presence. It is self paced, experiential, and designed to help you sense, not perform.
This article is a self paced somatic exercise. It is practice based, not informational. Nothing here requires completion, interaction, or performance. You can move through it in parts, pause, or return later.
If you are new here, there is a Substack database of articles available without subscription for context and orientation before committing financially. Practice-based pieces like this are intentionally paywalled for full guidance.
If you notice restlessness, scattered attention, or contraction, that is your nervous system signaling. This practice is about energy awareness and integration, not performance or perfection.
If that kind of attunement feels supportive today, you are welcome to continue.
